Haya confronts Jihan about his over-controlling and over-suspicious nature in deep well of Cappadocia. This book has moved me in ways no other could with Jehan’s character. Return to Book Page. I know that Haya’s character was also very important because most of the story is written considering her point of view. While I liked the book overall, there were moments where it bored me and I skipped lines to finish quickly. It’s high time people realised that.
Sad reality is that, many young girls don’t even bother reading quality writers, and get enchanted by such unrealistic fantasies, which teach them nothing about the ‘real’ life and thus it contributes nothing to the development of their minds, except that they get lost in the idea of a handsome hunk who will save them from every adversity and difficulty no matter what the situation is. A highly recommended novel She leaves with a stinging poison in the tail, which keeps haunting you long after you finish reading her book. DJ dialogue i love is mera name khadija rana hy meri friends mjhy DJ kahti hain lkn tum srf mjhy khadija kaho ge. A character had access to almost everything without any difficulty and without any questions or reference as to how they got it. It’s high time people realised that.
Haya suffered alot of pain and then she transformed in to completely different person. So how is it that Haya wasn’t even a year old when she was married off to Jihan?
I am so glad to have come across Nemrah Ahmed’s writings two years ago. I have heard so many good things about this novel but it was such a bakwass story with so many loopholes that I was literally irritated. This whole scene looked like it was ripped off Star Plus. Dec 30, Sadiya rated it it was amazing.
Then one day i decided this just for them after reading meri zaat zara e beynishan.
Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. I would recommend this outstanding book to everyone! This book has moved me in ways no other could with Jehan’s character. Irum was enjoying this whole scene like a vamp but when our superhuman hero played it, it turned out to be the pictures of meesni Irum and Waleed with the Shiela ki Jawani song playing in the background while the pictures changed like MS PowerPoint slides.
Its one of those books that you like but also point out some flaws. Aur khulay lambay kaalay baal. Open Preview See a Problem? To keep the video away from the eyes of the members of her traditional family and to avoid any complication The life of LLB Hons student Haya Suleman took an interesting turn when she received scholarship to study a five-month semester at a university in Turkey, but the circumstances became grave when someone leaked a private video pattah her made at a party on the internet.
Dophar ma kabootron ko b khanay ka pochny ma harj tu nae hy. View all 6 comments. I totally despise Jehan.
Also, thank you so much for setting my expectations so high that I’ll probably be waiting my whole life for a real version of Jihan Sikander. Jihaan also sufffered pain and hardships. I didnt even know the single word of all lectures.
Thi I like Nimra ahmed’s effort of bringing everybody closer to the meanings of the Quran through explaining some ayahs! View all 5 comments. I enjoyed it beyond my expectations. It is my first Urdu literature novel and rightly so it was worth all the praise and glory.
Nimra Ahmad is not a bad writer but she writes very unrealistic stories. I don’t know why our writers add religious philosophies to every novel.
There were many good Islamic lessons for us women here and I loved Haya grow into them and adopt a completely different lifestyle all the while figuring out the mess she was trapped onlnie.
The ending was perfect. The mystery of it all was quite good and also confusing, but that’s also the reason I started to hate a loved character and realised how different Haya and I can be.
Jannat Kay Pattay / جنت کے پتے
I did not anticipate the twists at all. I hate people like her. As i started reading this novel i told them they were so excited and they said to me saman read it fast. First of all, thank you Nemrah for writing something different. The whole story of Haya is very absurd and extremely unrealistic.
View all 14 comments. The novel was full of extra scenes which were too boring to read so the reader can skip those parts and can further move on. If I’d ever thought that reading it twice would be good, I never expected it to be this good.
It is episove complete rollercoster ride which will make you thrilled, fascinated and awed altogether. At the start i was very confused about the major ahmed and then ARP but the story catched my interest immediately and i get stuck to it. I personally feels that this book brought character, spiritual, religious change in me and I believe someone somewhere out there, too, would be feeling the same thing. Every person on this planet who can read urdu. It has its flaws but I love epjsode message it conveys and the way it reaches your heart and soul.

The protagonists actually had a onlije despite many urdu novels in which they only stare at each other with “kan akhiyon”. I was just irritated with this guy. Hardcoverpages.
